
Dorothea Rose Lynch Binkoski, 92, of Hamden, died Nov. 23, 2013 at St. Raphael Campus after a long illness. She was the widow of Joseph Binkoski.
Dorothea was born in New Haven on Aug. 19, 1921, and was a resided in New Haven most of her life. She was an orthodontist assistant for the late Dr. Frank Cammarano and Dr. John Gisondi for many years prior to retiring and moving to Hamden 12 years ago.
She is survived by her devoted children, Joseph P. Binkoski (Dr. Phyllis Liu) of Woodbridge, Timothy J. Binkoski (Patricia) and Susan Damiani, both of North Haven and Ellen White (Philip Gladue) of Colchester, loving grandmother of Cara Gould, Jana Ugolik (Robert), Roberta Pascarelli, (Kevin), Andrew Damiani (Sandra) Timothy Joseph Binkoski, Meghan and Charlotte Rose Binkoski and 7 great grandchildren. She was pre-deceased by a grandson, Christopher Damiani.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated in St. Mary’s Church on Tuesday, Nov. 26. Interment was in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
Memorial contributions in Dorothea’s name may be made to the Salvation Army, 450 George St., New Haven, Ct.
