Hamden Obituaries: Florence Angiollo Sullo, 90
Prior to her retirement, Florence was a Manager for the former Steinbach Department Store in Hamden for 20 years.
Florence Angiollo Sullo, 90, of Hamden, passed away Nov. 22, 2013 in CT Hospice.
She was the wife of the late Vincent J. Sullo, Sr. and the mother of Vincent J. Sullo, Jr. of Hamden, Richard A. Sullo of Bradenton, FL and William J. (Sharon) Sullo of Middletown.
Florence was the daughter of the late Angelo M. and Mary Angiollo and the sister of Angelo Angiollo of North Haven, Edward Angiollo of Branford, Albert Angiollo of East Haven and the late Grace Cacace, Frank and Joseph Angiollo. She is also survived by five grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Prior to her retirement, Florence was a Manager for the former Steinbach Department Store in Hamden for 20 years.
Her funeral procession will leave the Porto Funeral Home, 234 Foxon Road (Rte 80), East Haven on Tuesday morning at 9 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Our Lady of Pompeii Church at 9:30 a.m. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery. Friends may call Monday from 6 - 8 p.m.
