
James D. Camerato, 61, of 826 Pine Rock Road, the husband of Betsy Tiedmann Camerato, died Oct. 14, 2013 at Connecticut Hospice.
Jim was born in New Haven on Aug. 23, 1952, the son of the late Joseph and Helen Starno Camerato, Sr., and resided in Hamden for the last 20 years. He was a painter for Eric Chorney & Co. for 20 years and for the last 25 years was a retail liquor salesman, the last with Southington Wine & Spirit Shop.
He enjoyed golfing and trips to the casino.
Beside his wife, he is survived by sons James Camerato of VA and Adam J. Camerato of West Haven, and brothers Joseph (Carole) Camerato of Northford and John (Kathy) Camerato of Orange.
Friends may call at the Peter H. Torello & Son Funeral Home, 1022 Dixwell Ave., Hamden on Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. Interment will be private.
