Jerome Daniels, 69, of Hamden departed this life at Yale-New Haven Hospital on Oct. 8, 2013.
He was born Oct. 2, 1944 in Allendale, S.C., the son of the late Steven and Avabelle Daniels. He worked for the Veteran Hospital for 15 years until retirement.
He leaves to cherish his memories his wife Linda Bray-Daniels, a daughter, Brandy Bray, son, Kahson Bray, three grandchildren: Briagah Gaskins, Kashanda Patterson, and Kahson Bray, Jr. all of New Haven, a sister Margarita Miller of California, five brothers: Melvin, Leon, and Austell Dainels of Coco Beach, Fl., James (Mary) Seabrook of Greenville, S.C., Marvin Daniels of California and a host of other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by a brother, Steven Daniels.
A ceremony of celebration of his life will be held today at 11 a.m. at First Calvary Baptist Church, 605 Dixwell Ave, New Haven. Calling hours from 9 a.m. until time of service. Interment in the CT State Veterans Cemetery, Middletown, CT.
