Hamden Obituaries: Mary Busca Rosadino, 97
Prior to her retirement Mary was a floral designer for the former Washington Flower Shop.
Mary Busca Rosadino, 97, of Hamden beloved wife of the late Eugene J. Rosadino, passed away on Dec. 20, 2013 in the Hamden Health Care Center.
She was the oving mother of Eugene F. (Marilyn) Rosadino of Wallingford and Alva (Butch) Forte of North Haven, and the grandmother of Eugene F. Rosadino, Jr. of Devon, PA Gary (Cheryl) Rosadino of Cheshire, Nancy (Harold) Prather of Fairfield, Michael (Jennifer) Rosadino of Glastonbury, Tama Rappa of North Haven and Dana Forte of Wallingford.
Also survived by 13 great grandchildren and was the sister of the late Raymond and William Busca.
Mary was born in New Haven on Oct. 20, 1916, daughter of the late John and Marina Tapella Busca. Prior to her retirement Mary was a floral designer for the former Washington Flower Shop.
Her funeral procession will leave the Porto Funeral Home, 234 Foxon Rd. (Rte. 80), East Haven, Monday morning at 10:30 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Our Lady of Pompeii Church at 11 a.m. Interment will be private. Friends may call Monday morning from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m.
