Rose Verrioli Stella, 99, of Hamden died peacefully Sept. 28,2013 at the Arden House.
Rose was born in New Haven on May 18, 1914 to the late Albert and Columba Staiano Verrioli. She was the wife of the late Joseph F. Stella and the mother of Linda (Ronald) Milici, Joan ( Robert) Aceto and the late Joseph Stella. She also was the sister of the late Ann Palmieri, Mary Pinto and Pasquale Verrioli, the grandmother of RJ and Christine Milici, Christopher (Sarah) Aceto, Kara (Joseph) LaDore and the late Robert Milici and the great grandmother of Jonathan Milici, Skye and Shiloh Aceto, Madelina and Daniel LaDore.
Her funeral will leave the Iovanne Funeral Home, 11 Wooster Place, on Tuesday morning at 9:30 for a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Michael's Church at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in St. Lawrence Cemetery. Visiting hours will be Tuesday morning from 8:30-9:30 a.m.
