Hamden Police Blotter: DUI, Assault, Drugs

Aug. 3:

Russell Holmes, 44, of 143 Franklin Road, Hamden, was charged with operating while under the influence. He posted $500 bond and was arraigned Aug. 16 in Meriden Superior Court.

Michael Parker, 57, of 80 Bowen St., was charged with two counts of second-degree criminal mischief and two counts of second-degree breach of peace. He was arraigned Aug. 16 in Meriden Superior Court.

Eric Warren, 40, of 185 Thompson St., New Haven, was charged with disorderly conduct and violation of a protective order. He was arraigned Aug. 5 in Meriden Superior Court.

Aug. 6:

Donald Belcher, 37, of 49 Washington Ave., Hamden, was charged with second-degree failure to appear in court. He was held in lieu of $5,000 bond and arraigned the same day in Meriden Superior Court.

Daniel Hammer, 29, of 705 Orchard St., New Haven, was charged with third-degree assault and disorderly conduct. He was held in lieu of $25,000 bond and arraigned the next day in Meriden Superior Court.

Melquan Horton, 21, of 2925 Dixwell Ave., Hamden, was charged with third-degree criminal mischief and disorderly conduct. He was arraigned the next day in Meriden Superior Court.

Aug. 7:

Andres Barragan-Torres, 28, of 32 Atwater St., New Haven, was charged with possession of narcotics and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was arraigned Aug. 23 in Meriden Superior Court.

Desmond Howard, 19, of 389 Mill Rock Road, Hamden, was charged with disorderly conduct. He was arraigned the next day in Meriden Superior Court.

Mark McEntyre, 49, of 39 Edwards St., Hamden, was charged with second-degree failure to appear in court. He posted $500 bond and was arraigned the same day in Meriden Superior Court.
