Hamden Police Blotter: Drugs, Assaults, More Drugs

Dec. 1:

Roberta DellaGhelfa, 47, of Adams, MA, was charged with driving while impaired. She posted $500 bond and was arraigned Dec. 16 in Meriden Superior Court.

Deria Mohamud, 40, of Unionville, was charged with first-degree larceny and unlawful completion or reproduction of a credit card. She was held in lieu of $10,000 bond and arraigned Dec. 13 in Meriden Superior Court.

Dec. 2:

Jenny Santamauro, 25, of 1937 State St., Hamden, was charged with possession of narcotics and illegal manufacture, distribution or sale of a prescription. She was held in lieu of $5,000 bond and arraigned Dec. 12 in Meriden Superior Court.

Jason Kaufmann, 28, of 1937 State St., Hamden, was charged with possession of narcotics, illegal manufacture, distribution or sale of a prescription, operating a drug factory and criminal possession of a firearm. He was arraigned Dec. 12 in Meriden Superior Court.

John Whitley, 26, of 159 Read St., New Haven, was charged with two counts of second-degree failure to appear in court. He was arraigned Dec. 16 in Meriden Superior Court.

Eric Creto, 43, of 38 Highwood Ave., Hamden, was charged with second-degree breach of peace. He was arraigned the next day in Meriden Superior Court.

Johanette Hopson, 39, of Meriden, was charged with third-degree assault and second-degree breach of peace. She was arraigned the next day in Meriden Superior Court.

Dec. 3:

LaShawn Bushay, 24, of 640 Mix Ave., Hamden, was charged with disorderly conduct. Bushay was arraigned the same day in Meriden Superior Court.

Andrew Mount, 23, of 333 Elm St., Wallingford, was charged with sixth-degree larceny. He was arraigned Dec. 17 in Meriden Superior Court.

Angela Fraiser, 26, of 640 Mix Ave., Hamden, was charged with disorderly conduct. She was arraigned the same day in Meriden Superior Court.

Michael Zabivnik, 44, of Bridgeport, was charged with third-degree robbery and sixth-degree larceny. He was held in lieu of $500 bond and arraigned Dec. 13 in Meriden Superior Court.

Camille Zapata, 19, of 53 Hayward Road, Hamden, was charged with threatening and second-degree harassment. She was arraigned Dec. 17 in Meriden Superior Court.


Dec. 5:

Alex Turner, 32, of 302 Pine Rock Ave., Hamden, was charged with failure to keep drugs in the original container. He was held in lieu of $5,000 bond and arraigned Dec. 12 in Meriden Superior Court.
