Hamden Regional Chamber Announces Golf, Tennis Charity Tournament

The tournament benefits Make A Wish CT. There will be a four person scramble format for golfers and a four person format for tennis.

From Hamden Regional Chamber: The Hamden Regional Chamber of Commerce announces its upcoming Madras Open - Charity Golf & Tennis Tournament presented by Toyota of Wallingford to be held Monday June 12 at the Farms Country Club in Wallingford. The Chamber is proud to partner again for the fifth year with Make-A-Wish Connecticut to enable a local child with a life threatening medical condition to fulfill their wish.

There will be a four person scramble format for golfers and a four person format for tennis players. Registration begins at 10:45am followed by lunch. Shotgun start at 1pm. Individual golfer is $250; foursomes are $900.

Individual tennis players is $125; team of four are $450. Tennis registration begins at 1pm. There will be lunch, a cocktail hour, dinner and a well-stocked silent auction and raffle, along with the awards presentation. Tickets are also available to join us for cocktails and dinner which includes the live and silent action to support a local Make A Wish family at $65.00 per ticket.

Each golfer and tennis player will also have their choice of two premium concerts tickets to either the Toyota Oakdale Theatre or the Xfinity Theater compliments of Live Nation. Also, get a chance to win a trip to Pebble Beach and watch Eric Lunt, 2013 World Long Drive Championship Qualifier assist golfers for charity on a Par 5 hole. Eric produces golf ball speeds in excess of over 200 mph and drives over 400 yards…who couldn’t use a little help!
