Hamden Resident Breaks SCSU Field Hockey Program Record
The resident had a record-breaking performance over the weekend.
HAMDEN, CT — Hamden’s Brianna Craft, a senior goalie on the Southern Connecticut State University field hockey team, set a program record with 29 saves in a 6-0 loss to No. 10 nationally ranked Assumption Saturday at Jess Dow Field in New Haven.
The Owls fell to 0-7 overall with the loss and 0-4 in the Northeast 10. The Greyhounds improved to 6-1 overall and 4-1 in the NE10.
Craft’s record-breaking performance also topped her career-high by two saves. She set the previous program record of 27 saves again LIU-Post on Sept. 12, 2017.
