Hamden In Top 5 of Girls Basketball Preseason Poll
Sports media members and coaches have selected the top 10 girls high school teams in Connecticut to start the 2018-19 season.

HAMDEN, CT — Defending Class LL Mercy topped the preseason balloting of sports media members and coaches in the first high school girls basketball poll of the 2018-19 season.
The Tigers garnered 11 of 18 first-place votes to edge 2018 Class M champion East Haven, with New London winding up third.
Hamden collected three first-place votes in finishing fifth.
