Harvest & Homecoming Food Truck Festival Friday In Hamden
More than 30 food trucks will participate in the town's annual festival. There will also be music and live entertainment. Read details here.
HAMDEN, CT — More than 30 food trucks will be on hand for the town’s annual Harvest & Homecoming Food Truck Festival Friday night (Sept. 27) at Town Center Park, 2761 Dixwell Avenue. The event will take place from 4:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.
“Join us and indulge with more than 30 local and regional food vendors as they serve up their unique mobile cuisine and specialties,” officials wrote in a press release. “Music and live entertainment will be provided by DJ Rachel on the Town Center Park Stage.”
Among the confirmed food vendors are: 744 Express, Brotherly Grub, Burning Peel Pizza, Christiano's Mobile, DiSorbo's Italian Bakery, Donato's Pizza, Dee's Flavors, Elm City Kettlecorn, Fryborg, Good Humor, Holy Guacamole, Jesse Ray's BBQ, Lobster Hut, Los Mariachis, Mamoun's, Meriano's Bakery, Pierogis on Wheels, Moon Rocks Gourmet, Spuds Your Way, Street and Savory, Swaggat, Szabo's Seafood, Ted's Steamed Cheeseburgers, Snickering Coyote BBQ, Tipsy Cones, Uncle D's Blazin' BBQ and more to come.

The town will have some seating available, but attendees are encouraged to bring chairs and blankets for a true picnic in the park. Parking is available at the Hamden Library, Hamden Middle School, Hamden Government Center, Hamden Memorial Town Hall and Police Department and on the South Lawn of Town Center Park.
"What better way to close out the summer than with friends, family, and food in Town Center Park?” Mayor Curt Balzano Leng said in the press release. “Hamden's annual Harvest & Homecoming festival is always a great time, and this year looks to be even better than before! We hope you can come on out, meet your neighbors, sample some delicious food, listen to music, let your kids enjoy Josh's Jungle Playground and enjoy the last big outdoor event of our summer season.”
