Officials are advising visitors that the trails are still "very wet, snowy, and icy" after crews responded to two calls for injured hikers.
HAMDEN, CT — Two hikers were injured at Sleeping Giant State Park in Hamden over the weekend, according to fire officials.
Officials said units responded to two calls for injured hikers at Sleeping Giant.
“The trails are still very wet, snowy, and icy, leading to dangerous conditions,” officials wrote in a post on social media. “If you hike, have proper footwear, a cell phone with full battery, and a trail map. Please be careful out there!”
