The activity is designed to offer a fun filled afternoon for families and their children, while also collecting food for the local Food Bank, according to the campaign, as part of the Jackson for Hamden Committee’s “Give Back to the Community” weekend. Many Hamden Democratic candidates running for office will be participating in these events with the Mayor, so it is also an opportunity meet and talk with the Democratic Team.
“Town Center Park is becoming more and more of a central meeting place for our residents, in the true New England fashion,” said Mayor Jackson. “I hope that this will be a fun event where families can come to at no cost, have some fun and also share why Hamden is such a special place to live.”
