HAMDEN, CT — Kelly’s Cone Connection in Hamden is temporarily closing after a staff member was exposed to the coronavirus.
The owners announced Wednesday that the popular ice cream parlor, at 2538 Whitney Ave., would be closing for a couple of days for a deep cleaning.
“It has come to our attention one of our staff has become exposed to COVID-19,” the owners wrote in a post on Facebook. “As a precaution we will be temporarily closed for a couple days so we can thoroughly sanitize and clean our facilities as we follow state guidelines. We feel this is best for our staff and customers. We will reopen once we feel it is safe.”
