Man Broke Into Apartment Building, Stole Package: Hamden Police
The man is accused of breaking into an apartment building to steal a delivered package earlier this year, according to police.
HAMDEN, CT — A man is accused of breaking into an apartment building to steal a delivered package earlier this year in Hamden, according to police.
Eric Manley, 53, was arrested Monday on a warrant in connection with the Feb. 3 incident. Police responded to Lakewood Apartments, 1199 Whitney Ave. on the report of an “unwanted person,” according to Capt. Ronald Smith.
An investigation found that Manley forcibly entered the building and stole a delivered package before leaving the area in a minivan, Smith said.

Officer Christian Kaplan conducted the investigation that led to the arrest warrant.
Manley was charged with third-degree burglary, sixth-degree larceny and third-degree criminal trespass. He was held in lieu of a $25,000 bond with a court date of Oct. 1.
