Missing Hamden Boy, 10, Found In Washington D.C.: Police
A Silver Alert had been issued for the boy earlier this week, according to police.
HAMDEN, CT — A 10-year-old boy missing from Hamden was found in Washington D.C. with his father on Thursday, according to police.
A Silver Alert had been issued for Brandon Pervis Jr. on Sunday. He was found at a hotel in Washington D.C. with his father and both appeared to be in “good health and good spirits,” according to Capt. Ronald Smith.
Smith said D.C. Metro Police subsequently took Pervis Jr. into protective custody.

“Detective Patrick McCue of the Hamden Police Department Special Victims Unit conducted an exhaustive, extensive investigation, which led to the successful return of Pervis Jr.,” Smith wrote in a news release. “The investigation is continuing.”
