Obamacare Topic of Hamden Economic Development Presentation Tuesday

The Hamden Business Education Speaker Series continues with "The Impact of the new Affordable Health Care Act on Small Businesses: Health Care Exchanges," Tuesday at 5:30 p.m. at Hamden Government Center, 3rd Floor Conference Room.

Joseph McDonagh, CLU ChFC, CLTC: will present on the Affordable Care Act (known more popularly as Obamacare), the new Exchange (in Connecticut, called Access Health CT), and the impact these changes will have on Connecticut businesses. Mr. McDonagh has been in the insurance industry for over 23 years, specializing in insurance benefits and retirement plans for businesses and individuals.

This topic is important for small businesses because as of October 1st many provisions within the Act are in effect. All Hamden businesses are encouraged to attend. RSVP is recommended as space is limited.
