Obituary: Alexander (Alex) Michael Rocco, 33, Of Hamden
Alex's genuine, kind soul touched many hearts. He loved taking walks in nature with his dog and cherished time spent with family.
HAMDEN, CT — (From Hamden Memorial Funeral Home): Alexander (Alex) Michael Rocco, 33, of Hamden, passed away Saturday, June 26, 2021.
Alex is survived by his parents, Bruno and Elizabeth (Benson) Rocco, his stepmother Mary Lawlor, his siblings Todd (Janele) and Breanna Rocco, his niece Sienna Rocco, his beloved dog Lily, as well as many loved aunts, uncles and cousins.
Alex was born on March 4, 1988. He was a graduate of Hamden High School, and also attended Gateway Community College.
Alex’s genuine, kind soul touched many hearts. He loved taking walks in nature with his dog, cherished time spent with family, and was a lifelong gamer. He enjoyed playing baseball as a kid and was a big Yankee fan. Alex enjoyed learning, working with his hands, and getting lost in deep conversations. Alex’s generosity and friendly personality were only a few of his many traits that will be remembered for years by those who knew him.
