Obituary: Marian H. Jensen, 93, formerly of Hamden

Marian H. Jensen, 93, of Nokomis, FL, formerly of Hamden, CT, passed away on June 16, 2018. Marian was born on November 30, 1924 to Charles and Catherine Verone in New York. She worked in the financial aid office at Quinnipiac University for 45 years before retiring.

Survivors include her sons, Robert Jensen of Nokomis, FL and David (Diane) Jensen of New Boston, NH; and a “daughter”, Cheryl Conley Vernik of Bethany, CT. She was predeceased by her brother, Thomas Verone, and her two sisters, Joan Logioco and Rosemary Kennedy.

A graveside service will take place at a later date in Hamden, CT.

Memorial donations may be made to the Humane Society of Sarasota.
