
The 7th Annual P.L.A.C.E. Multicultural Fall Festival, presented by P.L.A.C.E. and The Town of Hamden, is this Saturday, Oct. 5 from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. at Hamden Town Center Park, 2901 Dixwell Ave. next to the Barn & Playground. Admission is free and the rain location is Hamden Middle School.

The 7th Annual P.L.A.C.E. Multicultural Fall Festival is a celebration of music, dance, art, food & fun and will raise money for our future children's museum to be located in the historic Rectory School Barn at the entrance to The Town Center Park, in Hamden.

Each year, P.L.A.C.E. provides free and low-cost arts and culture programming to more than 5,000 children and adults in Greater New Haven. From after-school and Saturday art programs, vocational services for persons with disability, video workshops for middle school students and media internship programs to community programs and events that include festival and summer camps, P.L.A.C.E. has made a name for itself in the Greater New Haven community and is ready for a bigger home!
Our current home, P.L.A.C.E. Art Studio, is located at 2781 Dixwell Avenue in Hamden. Our mission at P.L.A.C.E. is to engage our community in the exploration of world cultures, to celebrate the richness of diversity and to provide a safe, healthy and nurturing environment that fosters community action, social cohesion and connects people of all ages and cultures through interactive art, play and life-long learning.
