Police: Hamden Man Stalked Woman, Exposed Himself
He allegedly followed the woman around the area of King Street and exposed himself, according to police.

A Hamden man was charged with stalking and public indecency last week after he allegedly followed a woman and exposed himself to her, according to police.
"Last week Hamden Police responded to the area of King Street on the report of suspicious activity. The female complainant advised officers that she had been followed by an individual for several blocks," said police spokesman Capt. Ronald Smith.
Officer Dennis Putnam caught up with the man a short time later and detained him on Treadwell Street, Smith said.

While investigating the incident, officers determined that the man, identified as Tyrone Harris, 27, of 33 Bank St., Hamden, had both stalked her and exposed himself, Smith said.
Harris was charged with third-degree stalking and public indecency, Smith said. He was held in lieu of $5,000 bond and arraigned Friday in Meriden Superior Court.

Officer Derick Manning conducted the investigation, Smith said.
