Popular Pub Closes In Hamden
The owners announced the pub is closing its doors for good after 14 years in business.
HAMDEN, CT — A popular pub in Hamden closed its doors for good, the owners announced Tuesday. Dunn’s Pub, located at 2345 Whitney Ave., shut down in March due to Gov. Ned Lamont’s coronavirus orders.
The owners announced Tuesday that they decided not to reopen after 14 years in business.
“After careful consideration, we have decided not to reopen Dunn’s,” reads a post on the pub’s Facebook page. “We’ve enjoyed a great 14 year run providing a local pub atmosphere for all to enjoy. We want to thank all those who supported us, laughed with us, and rose a few pints with us as well. We also want to thank all who helped in our fund raising endeavors over the years for countless charities including youth sports and the Yale New Haven Children’s Toy Closet.
