Sacred Heart Student Delivers Welcome Address
Ranked number five in her class, Caroline Berberian delivered the Welcome Address at the Honors Convocation on May 23.

From Sacred Heart Academy: Caroline Berberian graduated from Sacred Heart Academy, Hamden, with a rank of Number Five in the Class of 2017 on May 27. As such, she delivered the Welcome Address at Honors Convocation on May 23. She is the daughter of Aram Berberian of New Haven and Julie Murray of Hamden.
During junior year, Caroline received the Xerox Book Award for Innovation and Information Technology, which recognizes outstanding academic achievement and strong potential in information sciences. Caroline received bronze awards on the National Spanish Exam in sophomore and junior year, and a silver award in senior year.
Caroline participated in four seasons of Cross Country, four seasons of indoor track, and four seasons of outdoor track. She was a captain of the Cross Country team. She also does archery outside of school.

Caroline served as the Vice President of the National Honor Society, as an officer of the Medical Researchers Club, and was a member of the Spanish National Honor Society and the Science National Honor Society. She also participated in KEY Club and Peer Connection.
This fall, Caroline is headed to Davidson College where she hopes to explore biology and Spanish studies.
