Store Robbed At Gunpoint In Hamden: Police
The robbers left in a stolen vehicle with a Florida registration plate. Police are asking for help with identifying the two robbers.
HAMDEN, CT — Police are asking for help with identifying two men in connection with the armed robbery of a convenience store Thursday night in Hamden.
The robbery happened around 9 p.m. at the Minute Mart Convenience Store at 280 Circular Ave., according to Capt. Ronald Smith.
Smith said two men, one who was armed with a gun, entered the store and ordered all of the customers “to the floor.” One man demanded money from the employees and the cash register, according to Smith.

The robbers left with an undisclosed amount of money, heading south on Circular Avenue in a stolen bronze Hyundai Santa Fe with Florida registration LKVL51, according to Smith.
The robber with the gun was described as 25 years old with a medium build, wearing a gray and green puffy jacket, black ski mask and black and yellow sneakers.

The other man was described as 25 years old, 6 feet tall with a thin build, wearing a black puffy jacket, black ski mask, black pants and black and white sneakers.
