It's Monday, Sept. 30 and here's what's going on:
— Weatherwise, it's going to be a beautiful week, according to the National Weather Service, with sunny days and highs in the 70s and even hitting 80 on Wednesday.
— On Monday, the Legislative Council will hold its monthly committee meetings at 7 p.m. in Thornton Wilder Auditorium at Miller Library. Immediately following those meetings, the full council will hold a special meeting.
— On Tuesday, the Veteran's Commission meets at 5:30 and the Farmington Canal Commission meets at 7:30 p.m.
— Also on Tuesday, the town's Bulk Trash Pickup begins. Get all the information here.
— On Wednesday, the Arts Commission meets at 7 p.m. in the Miller Library Senior Activity Room and the Inland Wetlands Commission meets at 7 p.m.
— On Thursday the Technology Commission will meet at 7 p.m. in the Hamden Government Center third floor conference room.
