Unclaimed $2.2M Lottery Winner Sold In Hamden

The clock is ticking on a winning Connecticut Lottery ticket worth $2.2 million that was sold at a store in Hamden.

HAMDEN, CT — The clock is ticking on a winning Connecticut Lottery ticket worth $2.2 million that was sold in Hamden, according to Lottery officials.

Officials said someone purchased a CT Lottery Lotto ticket with a six-number match worth $2.2 million for the April 24, 2020, drawing and has yet to claim it.

The winning ticket, sold at Hamden Shell, 1994 Whitney Ave. in Hamden, will expire on Oct. 21, 2020, unless it is claimed by that date.

The winning Lotto numbers for April 24 were: 2 - 7 - 8 - 12 - 17 - 24.

Lottery officials said to claim the prize, the winner can go to any CT Lottery retailer to have the ticket validated through a registered terminal, or call (860) 713-2680 to schedule an appointment to come directly to CT Lottery Headquarters at 777 Brook St. in Rocky Hill.
