Walk-Up Vaccine Clinic Returns To Keefe Center In Hamden
Officials quickly pivoted to the Moderna vaccine after "pausing" the use of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine.
HAMDEN, CT — The walk-up vaccine clinic will return to the Keefe Community Center in Hamden on Wednesday, officials announced.
The clinic was canceled on Tuesday after federal health officials recommended pausing the use of the Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccine.
Local officials said the Griffin Health/Connecticut Department of Public Health Mobile Vaccine Team will return to the Keefe Community Center (11 Pine St., Hamden) with the Moderna vaccine from 12 noon to 6 p.m. on April 14.

“Walk-up, no appointment is necessary,” officials wrote in an email. “Do not need to be a Hamden resident.”
