2 Firefighters Fall Through Floor Battling Manchester House Blaze
Two firefighters were hurt at an incident in Manchester early Wednesday.

MANCHESTER, CT — Two firefighters were hurt when they fell through a floor while battling a house fire in Manchester early Wednesday morning.
The fire broke out at about 1 a.m. at 140 Campfield Road. The home is a single-family Cape Cod-style house, built in 1942, that features three bedrooms and measures 1,282 square feet. It is located in the Hartford Road corridor.
Fire officials said flames were visible from the second floor when they arrived. While working on the top floor, the firefighters fell onto the first floor below, fire officials said.

The firefighters were taken to an area hospital, where they were treated and released, according to fire officials.
Five fire crews responded to the area after a 911 call came in, officials said.
