Three people were displaced after a car fire spread to a building on Charles Drive in Manchester.

MANCHESTER, CT — Three people were displaced after a car fire spread to a building on Charles Drive in Manchester Tuesday evening.
The fire broke out at 6:31 p.m. When they arrived at the scene, Manchester firefighters encountered a "well-involved vehicle fire" that had spread to an adjacent building and home, a report indicates.
Initial reports were that people were trapped inside, but all were out safely, according to a report.

The fire was quickly extinguished, fire officials said.
No injuries were reported.

The American Red Cross said one family – two adults and one child — was displaced. The Red Cross is providing assistance to meet the family's "immediate needs."
