About 80 Stores/Eateries Now Open At Manchester's Buckland Mall
Most of the stores at the Buckland Hills mall in Manchester have opened through Phase 2.
MANCHESTER, CT — Most of the stores at the Shoppes at Buckland Hills are now back in business through Phase 2 of the state coronavirus reopening plan.
The mall's website was boasting about 80 open locations in all on its website Tuesday. That number includes detached restaurants.
- The mall opened with strict distancing and safety protocalls in effect. They include:
- Masks are required. Anyone not wearing a face covereing will be asked to leave the property.
- Arrows on floors direct foot traffic.
- Hand-sanitizing stations are located throughout the mall.
- Touch-free interactions are being promoted
- "Frequent and intense" cleanings are scheduled
- Social distancing directions are posted.
The food court features "adjusted seating" and food court tenants are being "encouraged" to continue carryout and takeout service.
