Armed Teen Steals Car In Manchester, Caught In Hartford: Police

A teen armed with a gun has now been arrested multiple times for car theft, police said.

MANCHESTER, CT — An armed teenager was apprehended in Hartford after stealing a car in Manchester, police said.

The incident took place late Wednesday night, Hartford police said. The teen was in possession of a loaded .22-cal revolver, according to police.

The 14-year-old had taken A Subaru in Manchester and drove it into Hartford, police said.

The teen abandoned the car and was chased down in a foot chase by detectives, police said. The teen was unhurt, police added.

Wednesday's chase marks the third time the teen has been arrested in an auto theft-related incident, records show.
