Bridge Replacement To Close Part Of Busy Road In Manchester
A section of a busy road in Manchester is expected to be closed for more than a year.
MANCHESTER, CT — A section of Hartford Road in Manchester is expected to be closed for more than a year for a bridge repacement project, town officials said this week.
Beginning April 27, Hartford Road will be closed between Case Drive and Bidwell Street while the bridge spanning Hop Brook is replaced.
The project is slated to run until June 2021.

Traffic will be detoured around the work area via West center and McKee streets, officials said.
