MANCHESTER, CT — Budget season will officially begin in Manchester early next month.

No official numbers are in yet for the 2021-22 fiscal year. Manchester Budget and Research Officer Brian Wolverton said Wednesday that the town manager's proposed budget is on track to be completed and released on March 9.

Preliminary figures show that the Board of Education has submitted a proposed budget with a zero dollar increase, based on new state and federal aid that will be available for education next year.
