The Manchester Fire Eighth Utilities District Auxiliary's annual Mother's Day flower and plant sale has begun!
From hanging flower baskets to Gerber Daisies to tomato plants, the former station at the corner of Main and Hilliard streets is filled with sweet and earthy scents.
The sale runs today and Saturday from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m.
The proceeds from the sale enables the auxiliary unit to make donations to various Manchester charities, such as the food pantry, contribute to community events, help people displaced by fire and purchase equipment for the department, according to members. They hope to raise $6,000 over the two days.
