Cajun Seafood Chain Opens 3rd CT Restaurant In Manchester
A Cajun-themed seafood restaurant has opened in the Buckland Hills section of Manchester.

MANCHESTER, CT — A seafood restaurant chain with a Cajun flair opened its third Connecticut restaurant in Manchester Monday.
Chosen 1 Seafood is located in a corner unit at the Plaza at Buckland Hills, in the far right portion of the plaza, next to the Between Rounds bagel shop.
No opening date has been announced. Chosen 1 also has locations in Hartford and Bloomfield.

Chosen 1 features traditional Cajun food like gumbo, shellfish and fin fish, along with sandwiches and burgers — including oyster, shrimp and chicken po' boys.

- The Manchester Bag ($30): A pound each of mussels and clams (with egg, corn, potato and sausage)
- The Bloomfield Bag ($34): A half-pound of snow crab and a pound of shrimp (with egg, corn, potato and sausage)
- The Hartford Bag ($38) A lobster tail, a half-pound of scallops and a half-pound of shrimp (with egg, corn, potato and sausage)
- The Shovel ($129): Two lobster tails, (Add $20 for live whole lobsters) 2 pounds of snow crab, 2 pounds of gulf shrimp, 1 pound of mussels and a pound of clams
- The Atlantic Bag ($75): One lobster tail, 1 pound of snow crab, 1 pound of gulf shrimp, a half-pound of mussels and a half-pound of clams
Lunch specials include a blackened chicken quesadilla, a cajun catfish sandwich and a surf and turf special.
