Cajun Seafood Chain Targeting Manchester For 3rd CT Restaurant
A Cajun-themed seafood restaurant is on its way to the Buckland Hills section of Manchester.

MANCHESTER, CT — A seafood restaurant chain with a Cajun flair is opening its third Connecticut restaurant in Manchester.
Signs indicating that Chosen 1 Seafood is coming to a corner unit at the Plaza at Buckland Hills went up this week. It's in the far right portion of the plaza, next to Between Rounds bagel shop.
No opening date has been announced. Chosen 1 also has locations in Hartford and Bloomfield.

Chosen 1 features traditional Cajun food like gumbo, shellfish and fin fish, along with sandwiches and burgers — including oyster, shrimp and chicken po' boys.

- The Shovel ($129): Two lobster tails, (Add $20 for live whole lobsters) 2 pounds of snow crab, 2 pounds of gulf shrimp, 1 pound of mussels and a pound of clams.
- The Atlantic Bag ($75): One lobster tail, 1 pound of snow crab, 1 pound of gulf shrimp, a half-pound of mussels and a half-pound of clams.
Because of current coronavirus restrictions in Hartford County, indoor dining at Chosen 1 restaurants has been suspended "out of an abundance of caution." The chain still offers food available for pickup and through third-party deliveries.
