What are the critical differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post? I own two small businesses. I hire and meet a payroll. I am closely tied to the community. Laws on regulation and taxes effect me so I have a personal stake when making critical decisions that impact peoples everyday life.
What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job? I am a Navy Veteran who has served our Nation with honor. I have close ties to the community through hiring and giving people second chances who have left our prison system. I am a member of our local Elks Club along with my business I give back to our community through fundraisers of all sorts.
Do you believe Connecticut needs reform when it comes to electric utility oversight? What steps, if any should be taken? We need to negotiate better prices as a State for affordable energy costs. We have a opportunity to expand the natural gas pipeline in the Niorth East to service our energy needs in a clean manner.
What steps should state government take to bolster economic recovery from the coronavirus pandemic for local businesses? Trust in small business to open in a safe manner. Give a voice to the people by having our Representatives go back to work and give us that voice in the process.
List other issues that define your campaign platform: With all the school closers in my town and surrounding towns in the State. I believe we should turn those into Trade Academies. this is a alternative tp college. We live in a State with a large Manufacturing base but also a need for Construction Trades. opportunity and the dignity of a job is what we all strive for.
What else would you like voters to know about yourself and your positions? I will give you a voice at the Capitol. I believe in a strong work ethic.
