HARTFORD, CT — A Hartford man has been charged with murder in connection with a Halloween stabbing in the city that claimed the life of a Manchester man, police records show.

Oniel Lewis, 34, was also charged with conspiracy to commit murder, records show.

His bail in the case was set at $1 million, records show.

Lewis is accused of stabbing 48-year-old Manchester resident Bryan Monroe in Hartford's south end and he died at Hartford Hospital, according to case records.
