Children's Author Visit

Manchester Public Library will host children’s book author/illustrator Jarrett J. Krosoczka on Tuesday, June 21st, 2016 at the Whiton Branch Library. Jarrett is a two-time winner of the Children's Choice Book Award for the Third to Fourth Grade Book of the Year and is the author and/or illustrator of more than twenty-five books for young readers. His work includes several picture books, the Lunch Lady graphic novels, the Platypus Police Squad middle-grade novel series and the upcoming Star Wars Jedi Academy: A New Class. The Lunch Lady series and Punk Farm picture book are in development to become feature films. Jarrett will present a graphic novel workshop for grades 2+ that will require registration and storytime concerts for younger children. Jarrett will also present a workshop on reaching reluctant readers for adults in the evening. Please check our website or call for more details on presentation times and registration. Registration will begin June 1st.
