MANCHESTER, CT — A trucking company wants to put up a modest building for its operations in Manchester.

Local planning officials Thursday said An application has been submitted to the Planning and Zoning Commission by Scott Transportation for a wetlands permit and erosion control plan for the construction of an 11,320-square-foot, one-story building at 40 Commerce Road.

The area of Manchester borders Interstate-291.
