Dog, Owner Attacked By Coyote in Manchester

MANCHESTER — A coyote attacked a dog on a leash on Case Mountain Saturday, Scott Shanley, the town's general manager, told the Hartford Courant.

The coyote then began tracking the dog and its owner as they tried to walk away, according to the story.

Warning signs will be posted in the area, similar to notices tacked up last month around Porter Reservoir after two separate coyote attacks on unleashed dogs in that area, Shanley said Monday.
