Downtown Manchester Curb Local Event Winner Announced

MANCHESTER, CT — The recent Downtown Manchester Curb Local promotion has been deemed a boost to local business, officials said Wednesday.

Many customers placed call- ahead and online orders at shops and restaurants over the past two months, officials said.

Stephanie Berman of Manchester was the big winner. She collected many Curb Local cards and won a $50 gift card to The Firestone | Art Studio & Café for spelling "LOCAL."

Later, her name was chosen as the grand prize winner and she chose to receive a gift card for $100 to Filomena's.

Every curbside pickup order earned local consumers an entry into a drawing for a $100 gift card. Customers received a Curb Local card with their receipts. As customers collected their Curb Local cards they tried to get five cards to spell "LOCAL" base on the letters on the cards. The first four people to spell LOCAL automatically won a $50 gift card.
