Foodshare Issues Call for Distribution Volunteers
The regional food bank Foodshare needs volunteers top pick up groceries for two hours a week.
MANCHESTER, CT ― Foodshare needs volunteers to distribute groceries to local agencies around north central Connecticut as part of its Retail Rescue program.
Foodshare is a regional food distribution program.
The work is two hours a week and involves heading to area grocery stores, picking up donations and bringing them to a nearby pantry, shelter or community kitchen, Foodshare officials said.

- Hartford
- Manchester
- Newington
- Simsbury
- Southington
- Tolland
