Hartford Road-Bidwell Street Path On The Table As State Project
An "off-road shared use path" on Hartford Road and Bidwell Street is scheduled for discussion by the Manchester Board of Directors.

MANCHESTER, CT — What is being described by Manchester officials as an "off-road shared use path" on Hartford Road and Bidwell Street is scheduled for discussion at the Sept. 1 Board of Directors meeting.
The town has received a reimbursement commitment from the Connecticut Department of Transportation through the state's Local Transportation Capital Improvement Program to fund the $834,600 project.
The design and construction inspection will be performed by town staffers, officials said.

Construction is anticipated to begin in late 2021 or early 2022 and should take approximately six
months to complete., according to a project outline.
It is officially state DOT Project L076-0006.
