Hazardous Weather Outlook Issued As More Storms Expected For CT

There is no break for us in Connecticut regarding the weather as more storms are expected Thursday. Here's when to expect more storms.

CONNECTICUT — It was a wild day of weather in parts of Connecticut on Wednesday as severe storms rolled through the state, especially in Hartford and Tolland counties where significant damage was reported.

At one point a Tornado Warning was issued for parts of Tolland, Hartford, and Windham counties, and while a tornado hasn't been confirmed there was significant damage reported in Manchester and Glastonbury.

Some video shared by weather watchers depicted "rotation" which is often associated with tornados. Unfortunately, there is a concern that there may be more storms this afternoon and evening, though the thunderstorms are not expected to be as severe as Wednesdays.
