Hazardous Weather Outlook Issued For Most Of Connecticut

It definitely doesn't feel like spring weather in Connecticut.

CONNECTICUT — A Frost Advisory and Hazardous Weather Outlook is in effect for all of Connecticut except the immediate coast from 1 a.m. through the morning commute Monday, according to the National Weather Service.

Temps may fall to around the freezing mark late tonight and it will be a cold start to the work week with temps below or around 40 degrees for the Monday commute.

For inland sections of Fairfield, New Haven, Middlesex, and New London counties from 1 a.m. to 9 a.m. Monday the frost advisory is in effect. Low temperatures will range from 32 to 36. Late tonight into early Monday morning. IMPACTS...Frost could harm sensitive outdoor vegetation.


Hartford CT-Tolland CT-Windham CT: A Frost Advisory is in effect from 1 a.m. to 7 a.m. Monday. Lows will drop into the lower to middle 30s by daybreak Monday. IMPACTS...Frost could harm sensitive outdoor vegetation. Areas of frost are expected across portions of northern CT, northwest RI, and portions of eastern MA where the growing season has officially started.

Litchfield County: Frost Advisory is in effect from 2 a.m. to 8 a.m. Monday. Temperatures...Dropping into the mid 30s. Impacts...Sensitive outdoor plants may be damage or killed if left protected.


At the Connecticut coast, where no advisory is in effect, it will still be chilly with temps in the upper 30s tonight.

A 30 percent chance of showers after noon. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 55.

A 40 percent chance of showers. Cloudy, with a high near 60.

Thursday Night
A 50 percent chance of showers. Cloudy, with a low around 49.
