Joey Garlic's Opens Latest Restaurant in Manchester

MANCHESTER, CT — Joey Garlic's has become the latest culinary outlet in Manchester's Buckland Hills commercial district.

The restaurant officially opened last Monday at 31 Redstone Road. That's the 5,800-square-foot-space where the former Carrabba's Italian Grill stood near Manchester's Shoppes at Buckland Hills mall.

Joey Garlic's menu offerings include Italian dinners, gourmet pizza, grinders, burgers, wings, "giant milkshakes" and kids' offerings.

The chain was founded in 2007. The first restaurant was located on Route 6 in Farmington. A year later, the Newington location opened at 150 Kitts Lane.

The chain said it was still hiring at the Manchester location, though a staffer answering the phone Tuesday was not sure if the position were to be filled immediately or as part of a waiting list.
