Manchester Amendment Would Allow Hotel-To-Apartments Conversion
A zoning amendment would pave the way for hotel conversion in an area of Manchester.

MANCHESTER, CT — A developer known for some farily high-end properties in the state is requesting a zoning regulation amendment that would permit the conversion of existing hotels or motels in the Manchester General Business zone to multi-family use, subject to special exception.
The application was submitted Wednesday by Paredim Acquisition LLC, officials planning and zoning officials said.
No specific property is cited in the application.

The special exception would require any future development to be consistent with the "established physical relationship" of existing buildings to the "land area."
