Manchester Community Services Council Expands Scholarship Awards
MCSC has added the Dorothy "Dotti" Cannon Scholarship for 2021.

MANCHESTER, CT — The Manchester Community Services Council has announced its annual call for scholarship applications with a submission deadline of Tuesday, March 31.
New this year is the Dorothy "Dotti" Cannon Scholarship, established to support students pursuing a culinary arts education in memory of the beloved Manchester-born chef who died in June 2020.
"Chef Dotti” was founder and owner of Brown Sugar Catering, which was always popular for local celebrations, corporate events and nonprofit fundraisers since its opening in 2004. Friends and family established the scholarship to honor Chef Cannon's "selfless dedication to the community and numerous charitable organizations."
